The Mission
This website is designed to help students and teachers understand the environmental and social impacts of AI data centers, especially in the Wisconsin community. The effects of AI are going unnoticed and need to be part of conversations. It is to encourage more informed discussions about technology in education and bring awareness to what is happening in Wisconsin right now. AI is taking over schools, so starting with a conversation about it in education is the key foundation to change.
Why Does This Matter?
Without awareness, decisions about infrastructure, education, and resource use are made without public input. Starting these conversations in schools is essential, because it gives students and teachers the knowledge to question, understand, and influence how AI develops in their own communities.
